Payton's Summer Staples
Years ago, my Mom received this Lollia Bubble Bath as a gift and from the moment I saw it, I adored both it's packaging and sweet aroma. Fortunately, years later my older sister, Delaney bought me the same exact scent in a travel sized perfume. What I love is how convenient it is to carry along on trips and the scent of lavender and honey make it an obvious pick for any summer getaway.
An equally perfect item to bring along for traveling or going to the gym or even for just a day out on the town is a S'well Water Bottle. Not only are these canteens the most beautiful ones I've seen, but they really do keep cold for up to 24 hours (truly cold) and hot for 12. Unfortunately, this print is no longer for sale in the size that I got (17 oz.) but they do have it in a smaller size here.
Ring holders are one thing that I have a hard time turning down, and when they are monogramed, well, how could I resist. These dishes are acctuely intended to be coasters, but the slight lip easily adapts to holding trinkets, jewelry, and keys. This one is on sale, or you can also get these equally lovely ones in gold for the original price.
It is hard to go wrong when you find a simple gold necklace and I love that it nods to Disney without being to overt.
All my family knows I am usually surrounded by piles of journals and books and these below are just a few of my current favorites that have been making their way around the house.
I first heard of Sunday Suppers, quite a few years ago and I have been beyond in love with their clean and simple take on food and gatherings, so it was natural that when my 19th Birthday rolled around, I opened up a gift from my Grandparents to this gorgeous cookbook.
You wouldn't think that with all the journals I own, I could possibly fill them, but I somehow manage. These white Moleskine journals are quickly making it to the top of my all time favorites and this Happiness Planner (it's even cuter in pink!) has been helping me keep my goals all organized in one place and to become more aware of what a blessing the journey is.
I have always had a fondness for the idea of sailing on the blue sea in a yacht or sailboat or riding a Vespa on the winding roads of Italy's green countryside and when I saw these sunnies in Pink Buff and this Painterly Scarf, those are exactly the images they evoked. Here, here, and here are some equally pretty ones that I came across online. P.S. The material of this scarf is heavenly.
However, without a doubt this little boy, Francis makes it to the very top of the list :)
